What a private tour means

On a private tour the guide, the driver and the vehicle are for your group only. You choose the pickup time, you decide how long to stay at each stop and you can change the order of the day. If you love photography, you can stay longer. If your children are tired, you can shorten the walk.

The itinerary stays the same as the tour page, so you know what the day includes, but the pace is yours. We can also remove the shopping stop from tours that have one, and tell us about food needs so that lunch suits everyone.

How to book a private tour

1. Open the tour you like and press Book now.
2. Choose your date and the number of guests, and select Private tour in the booking form.
3. Send the request. We reply by email, usually the same day, with the private price and the pickup time.
4. You confirm by email. You pay on the day, in euro or dirham, and you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the start.

Private prices depend on the tour and the size of your group, so we send them by email rather than showing one fixed number. If you prefer, write to us directly with your dates and what you like and we suggest the right tour.

Tours that are private by design

• The horse carriage ride is a private carriage for up to four people.
• The hammam and massage in a riad is for one or two people, with separate rooms or a couples room on request.
• The camel safari in the Palmeraie can be private on request.
• The hot air balloon can be a private flight on request, instead of a shared basket.

Private Agafay desert tours

The Agafay sunset dinner, the quad ride and the buggy ride can all be booked as a private trip. You keep the vehicle and the guide to yourselves and we agree the pickup time with you.

• You want a specific start time, for example an early start to beat the heat.

Private tours and accessibility

A private vehicle makes some days easier, because we can stop more often. Even so, some tours involve steps, uneven paths or long walking, so tell us about any mobility needs when you write. We will tell you honestly which days are realistic.
